2022 Williamson Vineyards Tempranillo
This vineyard-designated Tempranillo highlights the character of Williamson Vineyard and reflects our ongoing interest in showcasing site-specific expressions of Idaho fruit. Aged for 30 months in neutral oak, the focus stays on purity and texture rather than oak influence.
The nose is fruit-forward, led by ripe cherry with subtle hints of plum. On the palate, the wine is smooth and approachable, with soft tannins and an easy, balanced structure. Notes of spice and a touch of leather emerge on the finish, adding depth without taking away from its drinkability. The wine lingers pleasantly, making it both satisfying and accessible, pairing naturally with simply grilled steak or tri-tip and Spanish-style chorizo or other smoky, savory dishes.
A clear, honest expression of Idaho Tempranillo—built to enjoy now, but with enough structure to hold up over time.
